The criteria for this award is as follows: (1) Must be a full time agent, (2) Be a member in good standing, (3) Possess high ethical standards, (4) Maintain good cooperation, (5) Have spirit of the business, (6) Be knowledgeable about your profession, (7) Be courteous and considerate of others. Consideration for this award is not based on $ Awards received either through the Association or Brokerage. After reading this, does someone you have had a co-op with come to mind? EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITY…
(1) Next Power Hour Education session is scheduled for: Thursday, March 8, 2012 – 9:00 am – at the RiverWinds Community Center in West Deptford. Our guest speaker will be Maura Attardi, of Consumer Credit Counseling Services, who will be speaking on Credit Laws, Repairing Credit, etc. Excellent info to pass on to potential clients. (2) CE CREDITS…Surety Title Company has partnered with the Gloucester Salem Counties Board of REALTORS® to conduct a Code of Ethics Training Session. This program satisfies the NAR Quadrennial Code of Ethics training that is a mandatory requirement for membership. We are presently in NAR’s third cycle, which runs from January 1, 2009 through December 31, 2012.
The New Jersey Real Estate Commission has just approved this class for continuing education credits.
The course will be given on Friday, March 23rd at Adelphia Restaurant. Continental Breakfast will be 8:30-9:30 am. Class will begin promptly at 9:30 am until 12:30 pm with one 15-minute break. The course will be worth 3 Core Credits.
There is LIMITED SEATING for this session. A flyer is posted on the home page of our website at www.gscbor.com and also under “Upcoming Events” if you need to print another copy.
To register, please note the requirements that you must have with you in order to receive credits for this class.
This is a wonderful opportunity to fulfull the mandatory NAR Quadrennial requirement and receive your CE credits at the same time. Best of all…IT’S FREE TO YOU!
There is a strict dead-line registration of March 16th, so make sure you RSVP prior.

NJAR EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP
NJAR’s 2012 Educational Foundation Scholarship Application is now available on line. Criteria include academic achievements, financial need, interest in real estate endeavors and contributions to family, school and communities. Students who are high school seniors who will be attending an undergraduate four-year institution, currently enrolled in an undergraduate four-year institution or pursuing graduate studies in real estate or allied fields. Applicants must be a member, or a relative of a member of NJAR or a local or state association/board staff who resides in NJ. Completed applications are due to NJAR by Tuesday, April 3, 2012. DELINQUENT DUES…
Please be advised that the $75 late fee is now in effect for anyone who is still outstanding on their 2012 NAR Assessment Dues. When submitting, the late fee must be included or your payment cannot be processed, whether your payment is made by check or credit card. Attention Brokers/Managers…any agent in your office that is still outstanding and show “active” on the New Jersey Real Estate Commission, after March 7th, you will be billed for.
